MORNING DEW

This is a close up photo (macro short) of a backyard grass. Enjoying some wonderful sunshine in the Sussex Countryside. What a good day to be alive!

Tiny white flowers now start beautifying a rather plain carpet of green. Capture these delicate beauties when the sun is just starting to come up and everything just looks magical under the lens. When you are limited to just your immediate surroundings during the lockdown, you start appreciating the simpler things in life.

FLOWER POWER

MOSS ON THE ROCK

Tiny moss cling to the rock. This is a simple garden but it is enchanting under the lens.

CUT WOOD FOR FUEL

This is a cross section of a cut cypress. Judging from the concentric circles/ rings, this little fella was about 7 years when cut. Their wood is very good for use in the fireplace when days are a bit chillier than usual. The past winter has been mild so just the central heating and a thick dressing gown did the job.

HELLO DUCKIE!

Hello little duckie. This little ornamental duck used to be a vibrant yellow, but now it looks quite sad and jaded. This would make a very good painting project. Happy days!

BREAKFAST IN THE GARDEN

A healthy breakfast of Greek Yoghurt with sliced bananas drizzled with a golden Canadian Maple Syrup. A perfect & healthy recipe while soaking up the morning sun.

GOLDEN PAIR OF SLIPPERS

We’re not fans of blings but a golden pair of home slippers add an extra pick-me-up to our days. Life is too short to be boring and to be bored

Thank You...
