WHO IS SANTA BARBARA IN VENICE?

 WHO IS JACOPO PALMA IL VECCHIO?
 
Jacopo Palma il Vecchio (c. 1480 – 1528)

Palma il Vecchio was a pupil of Giovanni Bellini,
and he was also influenced by the works of Giorgione and Titian.
He is best known for his depictions of sensuous women,

Some of his most famous works include
the altarpiece “Sacra Conversazione”
in the Church of San Zaccaria
and the “St. Barbara”
in the Church of Santa Maria Formosa,

Palma il Vecchio’s works
