IT’S NOT A BANANA!
This exotic looking perennial is actually a relative
of the well-known orange and blue flowered bird-of-paradise plant.
Named in honour of Czar Nicholas of Russia,
it comes from South Africa where it grows to 10m (30ft.) high.
Its flowers are white with blue or purple bracts
and resemble the head of a white bird with a blue beak.
And finally, why don’t finish your trip
with a hot cup of tea or coffee
with a slice of carrot cake or a
COMFORTING BOWL OF SOUP and a ROLL in the Cafe.
If you feel a bit more peckish,
why not try what they have on offer in the RESTAURANT.
