You can book your guided tour to ZAANSE SCHANS from AMSTERDAM

or you can take a bus from MAIN CENTRAL Station in AMSTERDAM, 

which cost us about more or less 12 EUROS for a RETURN TICKET

and takes about 45 minutes to an hour

to reach these iconic windmills in ZAANSE SCHANS.

It is free to enter this area by the way,

which is a bit surprising to us as we are used to

NATIONAL TRUST or ENGLISH HERITAGE charging us a fee

just about anywhere you enter in the UNITED KINGDOM.

Well rejoice, the only money you need to spend here

is probably you entering the Museums on site,

which we did not enter anyway.

One more thing before we start the tour,

You don’t really need to have your money changed

from Pound Sterling (or your country’s currency) to Euros.

Just use your Credit or Debit Card

for anything while in the NETHERLANDS.

You’ll need to budget for your toilet trips too

because just about any toilet you enter will cost you 1 EURO,

and you can pay by CASH or CARD.
